Meetings 2008

NOVEMBER

November 6th.
"OCEAN OASES" - Explore the fantastic and diverse underwater worlds of three very different islands, Fernando de Noronha, Aldabra and Palau, scattered throughout the oceans. Tiny island dots that have remained virtually untouched for millions of years. Oases of life in the vast oceans.
Interval for raffle and refreshment A 10 minute short film of just some of the many tricks of the aquatic trade.

November 20th.
"BREEDING BETTAS MY WAY" - If you don't know your 'Half Moon' from your Plackat, then Ray Brown, of Corby & District .A.S., will put you right. As a Betta splendens breeder of many years, the new varieties (and their breeding potentials) are de-mystified in this worthwhile programme. Recorded live at the ASAS Show 2007.

At all meetings, there is time for general discussion, a chance to trade any fish or equipment and of course the usual raffle.
